How to do DIY car detailing

Cleaning and detailing the car can be done by following certain simple steps. The life of the carpet can be increased by keeping the car’s interior and exterior clean and also by painting the interior. If a medium-sized car is detailed then it takes a lot of time almost an hour. DIY car detailing needs a lot of patience. However this can also be done by taking the car to the service center.

1. As the dust and debris build up on the car paint and on the outside surface of the car so the car must be washed before the waxing is done. All the crevices must be cleaned and the car must be rinsed thoroughly. Then at a time the wax is applied to one section of the car and then with a lint-free cloth it is removed after dry.

2. The next step for DIY car detailing is vacuuming the car interior. The vacuum is made run over the carpet to remove the dust and mud and the vacuum is also applied to the seat and to the back trunk area. As the vacuum cleaner comes in many attachments so the smaller head attachment is used to remove dust in the tight spaces.

3. Then to all the interior surfaces the dash and leather cleaner is applied. As most of the cars have rear seat backs or door panels which are covered with vinyl so it also must be wiped up and kept clean. Expert detailing is adapted for removing the dust and gunk’s in small crevices of the center console and dash spaces. One can also get the same result and enjoy the cleaning process by using a toothbrush for scrubbing these areas if vacuum cleaner is not there.

4. Then the final step for DIY car detailing is cleaning the inner and outer glass.
